Pottery Class ( it was not like Ghost)

Well Howdy!

I have always wanted to learn pottery.  You know, hair in braid haning over my shoulder and looking sexy in dirty overalls kind of thing.  So I signed up for a “try it” class, it is what it sounds like, you come in for a couple hours and try it out.  It was only me and the (owner) instructor.  It was kinda awkward at first (he took my off colored humor literal).  I had to keep saying I am kidding you.  I was quite nervous, I have never been very creative.  But I wanted to learn and I wanted to do well.

Once I relaxed I really enjoyed this and I can see if you actually have some skills it would be very peaceful.  Of course I need a wheel at my house now lol.  I did learn that I have very hard time taking verbal directions.  They confuse and stress me.  Being a kinesthetic person I need to just feel and figure out how to do things.  I never ever read directions either.  So once he gave me space I was able to sink into the process.  I think I did a good job.  I made the most amazing bowl in the history of pottery.  It is being glazed an aqua blue color and I will pick it up soon.  Let me tell pottery is a skill and I will do more of it, next step is to sign up of a 6 week class.  I can’t wait to show you all my masterpieces.
